“This is a kind of food not taken in through the mouth. Every time you meet someone, something is poured in.” – Rumi
I am a UKCP-registered clinical supervisor and offer supervision to both trainees and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. I work as a training supervisor at the Minster Centre and previously worked as a clinical supervisor at One in Four, an organisation that supports survivors of sexual abuse and trauma. My aim as a supervisor is to create an open, supportive, and collaborative space for reflection, where supervisees feel safe and confident to explore their clinical work. I place great importance on developing a positive supervisory relationship, where openness, creativity, and curiosity can flourish. In my approach to supervision, I integrate different approaches, including psychodynamic, Gestalt, existential psychotherapy, Jungian, body psychotherapy, and art therapy, where appropriate. I tailor the supervisory process to the individual needs, experience, and therapeutic approach of each supervisee.
