"Don’t forget to love yourself” - Søren Kierkegaar
I am a registered psychotherapist, practising depth psychotherapy, and trained as a Humanistic Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapist. With 15 years of psychotherapy practice, I work with individuals, couples and groups, supporting adults of all ages and from diverse backgrounds and intersections. I have a particular interest in working with anxiety and relationship difficulties.
My early interest in philosophy and psychology led me towards psychotherapy training. My own experience of psychotherapy deepened my understanding of how therapy can transform our inner world and our relationships with ourselves, others, and our past.
My training includes - BSc in Psychology, Birbeck University of London - Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) - Diploma in Couple Counselling & Psychotherapy, CCPE - Advanced Psychotherapy Diploma, CCPE - Diploma in Group Work Practice, Institute of Group Analysis - Diploma in Supervision in Psychotherapy & Counselling, Minster Centre - Accredited EDMR Training - Spiritual dreamwork, CCPE Alongside full-time work in my private practice, I work as a training supervisor at the Minster Centre and previously worked as a clinical supervisor at One in Four, an organisation that supports survivors of abuse and trauma. I also facilitate experiential training groups (ETG) at the Minster Centre and North East Surrey College. Previously I worked as a psychotherapist and as an art therapy facilitator within the NHS both at in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation units. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in strategy across both small private and large multicultural organisations. This experience has given me a broad perspective on the complexities of work and change. I am committed to ongoing personal and professional development and regularly practise meditation, which supports my own reflective practice and way of being with clients.
